Retailer Terms — Petadd
Version: 2026-09-16 · Last updated: 2026-09-16
1. Overview
These Retailer Terms govern buying wholesale on Petadd as a retail business (a “Shop”). They apply in addition to the Terms of Service, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
- Petadd is for businesses that resell: pet shops, groomers, veterinary retail, e-commerce sellers and similar trade buyers. It is not a consumer shop, and products bought here are for resale or business use, not for private consumption.
- You confirm your business is registered as required in your country and that you are authorised to buy on its behalf.
3. Your shop account
- A shop account represents one retail business. Colleagues join by invitation with their own logins; you are responsible for their activity and for removing people who leave.
- Keep your business details, delivery addresses and contact data accurate — suppliers rely on them to ship and invoice.
4. Verification and what it unlocks
Wholesale pricing, ordering and messaging are reserved for shops verified at Tier 2. To reach it, submit business documentation for review. We may ask for more evidence, refuse, or withdraw the status later if the information no longer holds. A reason is recorded in your cabinet for any refusal.
5. Wholesale prices are confidential
- Prices, discounts, minimum quantities and terms shown to verified shops are confidential commercial information of the supplier.
- Do not publish them, share them with people outside your business, pass them to competitors of the supplier, or export them in bulk. Scraping or automated extraction is prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Retail pricing in your own shop is entirely your decision; nothing here restricts it.
6. Orders
- Placing an order is your offer to buy on the terms shown. The contract arises when the supplier accepts it. Petadd is not a party to that contract.
- Prices, availability, lead times and shipping costs come from the supplier and may change before acceptance. An obvious error may be corrected by the supplier before the order is accepted.
- Changes and cancellations are agreed with the supplier. Once goods have shipped, cancellation depends on the supplier's policy and applicable law.
- Keep order communication in one place where you can, so both sides share the same history.
7. Payment, shipping, taxes
You pay the supplier directly on the terms you agree with them. Petadd does not process payments, hold funds, issue invoices or act as carrier. Import duties, VAT and customs formalities are yours to handle unless the supplier states otherwise in writing. Late payment is a matter between you and the supplier; persistent non-payment reported to us may cost you access to the platform.
8. Delivery, shortages, returns
- Check deliveries promptly and report damage, shortages or wrong goods to the supplier within the window their policy sets.
- Returns and refunds follow the supplier's published policy and applicable law. As a business buyer you generally do not have a consumer right of withdrawal.
- If a supplier stops responding, tell us. We can attempt to make contact and, where the pattern repeats, act against the supplier account — but we cannot refund you or take over the contract.
9. Product compliance in your market
You are responsible for whether a product may lawfully be sold in your country and by your business: labelling and language requirements, feed and veterinary rules, import restrictions, registration duties. Ask the supplier for documentation before ordering if you are unsure.
10. Reviews
- Review only what you have actually bought or used, describe your own experience, and keep it factual.
- Do not accept payment or benefits for a review, post on behalf of a competitor, or publish someone's personal data in a review.
- We may remove reviews that breach the Acceptable Use Policy. We do not remove honest negative reviews at a supplier's request.
11. Messaging
Use messaging for genuine trade enquiries. Mass identical messages to many suppliers, marketing of unrelated services, and abusive conduct are prohibited. You can report a conversation; reported messages may be reviewed by our team.
12. Your shop's public listing
Petadd maintains a directory of retail pet shops, compiled from information you give us and from public sources such as business listings and shop websites. A listing may therefore exist before you register. It shows business information — name, address, contact, opening details — not personal data beyond a business contact.
You can claim your shop listing, correct it, or ask for it to be removed by writing to legal@pet.brave-robots.com. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle data collected from public sources.
13. Suspension and termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate a shop account for breach of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law, for false verification data, or for conduct that harms suppliers or the platform. Obligations under orders already placed survive.
14. Liability
The disclaimers and limitations in sections 17 and 18 of the Terms of Service apply. In particular, we are not liable for the quality, legality, delivery or non-delivery of goods bought from a supplier, nor for a supplier's failure to perform.
